How do you descale your steriliser? I was thinking I probably ought to do it! Is there a certain product you buy?

What kind do you have? Vinegar will take all scale off. Mix it half half with water and run the sterilizer. Run it again with clean water to get the vinegar smell out. It works like a darn though! Works awesome for kettles too.

You can buy proper descaler for sterilisers at boots. If you have a microwave one you can just wash it in soapy water and the scale comes off.

Thanks, we have an electric one. I'll have a look in boots, if I have no luck I'll try the vinegar, thanks!
