My name is Amie and I recently found this forum which I hope will be a useful support forum to get me through my recent loss of my twins at 17 weeks and 1 day.

I am a 35 year old mother to one wonderful 8 year old daughter. I am engaged to the love of my whole life. We recently reconnected about a year and a half ago after having dated when we were in our early 20's. We were very excited to be pregnant in the first place, let alone finding out there were two! This was to be his first child, or, children and me finally having the second pregnancy I'd longed for for quite some time. We are completely devastated to have had it end in this way.

I am a substitute teacher looking for a permanant classroom and my DF is a finance guy. We live in Michigan, outside of Detroit in a modest neighborhood.
