Short Personal Description: Pfft. I can't describe myself out of the blue like that! I suppose I'd be defined as friendly, confusing, with a weird sense of humour, strong-minded and determined, a little shy in some situations and overly confident in others, passionate, caring, loving...erm, yep, I'm spent.

Favorites:

Hobbies: Roller Derby, reading, writing fiction, and also trying every blasted thing I see that looks interesting (much to the despair of my partner, who never knows what I'm up to from one day to the next)

Color: Green

Food: For comfort, anything stodgy (deep dish dominoes pizza mmm), but also antipasti type majiggeries. Nom.

Hang-out: Quiet old pubs. I'm an old man and I should probably drink bitter.

Music: Quite eclectic, but the majority of (older) rock, especially from the 90s

Books: Very eclectic, mostly victorian gothic fiction, but also Terry Pratchett, Robert Rankin, Kathy Reichs, Dan Brown, Dickens, Bronte, and all kinds of others. One wall of my front room is shelving literally covered floor to ceiling with books and films.

Movies: Hitchcock's Psycho, any awful b-movie style horror, The Hours (and Father of the Bride, but that's a guilty pleasure and should be a secret)

TV Shows: Spaced, Scrubs, Any of the River Cottage Series, Black Books, Inbetweeners, True Blood (yes, I know it's awful...)

Authors: Bram Stoker, Charlotte Dacre, Sheridan Le Fanu...and Robert Rankin. Robert Rankin to the extent that I have a quote from my favourite book in his handwriting tattooed around my left wrist (written for me especially, bless him).

Cartoon Character: All of a sudden I can't think of any cartoon characters. None at all.

Most Influential Person in Your Life: A younger version of myself. I've had an almost comically mental life so far and I've learned a lot from my own experiences.

Greatest Ambition: Cheesy one - just for my family and myself to be happy. Realistic one - I want qualify as an English teacher for 11-18 year olds, then to do my doctorate and lecture in literature at a university.

Biggest Achievement: My two midget clones/finally getting my degree at the age of 26 against all odds!

Grandest Wish: I don't wish for much and really can't answer this!

Hi I'm 17. I love the idea of being a young mum but am not pregnant and do not have a kid the now. I'm in a good relationship the now and he has really helped me through a lot that I could never have done without him. He helped me recover from an ed and realise that I do want a family in future. We've been together a year and had a scare a few weeks ago but came out I wasn't. I'd love a kid then now but I'm unfortunatley unemployed and still living at home :/ He's got a good job and could get a place anytime but I want to get a job and some independence and money behind me before bringin a kid into the world I want it to have a good start.

I've left school. Job hunting. Want to study HNC Early Education & Chilcare next year

Hubby & I have been TTC for 1 year & 6 months now but things haven't been easy.

I have known I had pcos since I was 15, however I never thought it would ever been this hard to have a baby.

So far we have been able to try 4 rounds of clomid which had no effect on my body & now the hospitals next option for us is IUI.

I'm quiet worried about this as we would have preferred injectables and to try naturally however aparently primary care trust will not fund just the injectables.

Is there any one else in my situation on here that may like to chat?

Hi i have been ttc for for my whole life i have a 18 year old girl (birthday was today ) a 11 year old girl and a 2 and 1/2 yr old and 3 angel babies so as you can see it has been along time between pregnancies, but all 3 are sooo worth it, my husband and i are trying for baby #4 hopefully a boy but wont be upset with another girl i would love to help you a long if u need someone to chat too although i dont know much about the injections though coz i have always just got through it naturally i never knew about anything like temps, injections etc etc so sorry cant help there yet but there are HEAPS of women on here that are going through this everyday sometimes for years and years, they are amazing women and im sure any of them will be happy to journey with you good luck hun
