[TTC With PCOS]

Hi my names Maria

I'm 24 years old

Hubby & I have been TTC for 1 year & 6 months now but things haven't been easy.

I have known I had pcos since I was 15, however I never thought it would ever been this hard to have a baby.

So far we have been able to try 4 rounds of clomid which had no effect on my body & now the hospitals next option for us is IUI.

I'm quiet worried about this as we would have preferred injectables and to try naturally however aparently primary care trust will not fund just the injectables.

Is there any one else in my situation on here that may like to chat?

Hi i have been ttc for for my whole life i have a 18 year old girl (birthday was today ) a 11 year old girl and a 2 and 1/2 yr old and 3 angel babies so as you can see it has been along time between pregnancies, but all 3 are sooo worth it, my husband and i are trying for baby #4 hopefully a boy but wont be upset with another girl i would love to help you a long if u need someone to chat too although i dont know much about the injections though coz i have always just got through it naturally i never knew about anything like temps, injections etc etc so sorry cant help there yet but there are HEAPS of women on here that are going through this everyday sometimes for years and years, they are amazing women and im sure any of them will be happy to journey with you good luck hun

Wow thank you for your reply sounds like you have! It's just been so hard the last couple of years & the doctors are really not very helpful. How can you not be stressed with the amount of pressure they put you under. Hopefully be starting IUI at the end of the month. But I'm just worried it will never happen. How do you manage to get through it???

I just found out that I am pregnant a few days ago for te first. I head to the DR. in a few weeks.

My husband and I were trying to conceive. I went off BC in August, so it happended fairly quickly, I think I am about 4 weeks pregnantWe are so happy to be expecting our first baby! We have not told anyone yet, waiting on the doctor visit. I cant wait to tell the world.

So far i havent had much side effects. A litlle nauseua but that is it. So I am feeling pretty good. Im sure all that will change in a few weeks. haha.

So glad I have found this forum.

Well i found out i am around 7 week pregnant 2 weeks ago
this was vey unexpected as my youngest child is now 13 Could not have imagined going back to nappies a month ago but i am coming round to the idea now! Loving the fact i can eat as many icelollies as i want with no complaints from the boys that mums ate the all as they know i NEED them

Been with my husband for 16 years, married for 1 year and 2 fab boys aged 15 & 13.

i have 1 short legged JRT called Stella, i bought her for my husband 2 years ago as he wanted a baby girl so i go him a dog! I aso have 4 Hermanns tortoises Big Munch, Mini Mujnch & The Girties
