Wasn't sure what to title this, but our destination Disneyland Florida wedding is NEXT MONTH!! and i wanted to write down and bounce idea's round with you lot to see if I'm actually as planned and ready as i think!

So if you think i'm missing something, please say!!

OK -

Venue, ceremony and discussions all done with wedding coordinator. We organised our wedding breakfast the other week - having Italian food, quite different and quite excited about it, as it's set in such a gorgeous place!

Mine ring is sorted and we're off to sorted james' on Saturday, spoke to the jeweller and he's happy with that.

Flowers, photography and video-ing it all sorted, finalising plans in resort.

ESTA's all done, passports checked and marriage licence to be done out there! All the legal stuff taken care of - all rather straight forward I should add!

Bridesmaids all sorted! Just need to have a last 'fitting' of mads, sorted her shoes last week (so cute!) and need to sort MOH's in 2 weeks time when i see her again.

My dress - after an awful shop - 'gown beautiful, dress shop terrible ' next fitting 23-08 - hoping to have all my accessories by then (waiting on delivery of last two) and fingers crossed i might only need one more fitting

Need to put our cases and sort one for the over head locker for my dress.

Suits, waistcoats etc are all done, just need to get james some shoes :)

We have a wedding coordinator and the booking agent being fabulous and helpful so other than dress it's been so stress free, but i still feel like i'm missing something

OK.... what have i missed?!?

i have no advice or helpful input...sorry! but i just wanted to say massive good lucks and congratulations! Id love to get married at Disney too! :cloud9:

oooo my goodness, i cant even think!!!!!! ill let you know if i think of something MASSIVE CONGRATS AND GOOD LUCK !!! XX

awww thanks ladies! we're pretty excited! it's been booked for 11 months and we decided to do it there 2 years ago now, so we just can't wait! what i'm most excited about it coming back as his mrs finally

i'm sure i'm missing something big, but i don't no what :haha: luckily once we get there the wedding coordinator will sort everything, phew! but still hmmmmm!

awww. i cant wait to be mrs fletcher. I cant wait to graduate as a teacher. I cant wait for us to be teachers together. I cant wait to buy our first house together. And hopefully, the next time we TTC it wont take 18 months again. I hope I get pregnant after our wedding. My OH has a problem so we might have to put ourself forward for IUI & IVF. But what ever happens....ill be his mrs!!! woohooo!!

sounds like your all ready!!!! how exciting! Just a thought, are you all set with getting your dress there ok? x

thank you tiny toes :D an excellent thought actually! our dress shop are totally useless - normally the dress shop would pack it for you in a box suitable for hand luggage, but they don't!

so once it's home i'm planning on a small hand luggage size suitcase and popping it in there, if not, the dry cleaners i believe do it for you. IF it doesn't fit (ekkkk god i hope it does - it's a princess style dress so might not) then i'll have to check it in at the air port :( just got to see once it's home, and hope the airline take pity  - this is after speaking to Virgin Atlantic, the dress shop and the travel agents whom we booked through.

keep the suggestions coming ladies, i'm sure i've missed something

Holiday clothes...lol

As well as wedding things i am sure you have a huge list of holiday things to take. (tickets, clothes and all that)
As you know i love disney, cant wait to honeymoon there....one very magical place to get married.
P.S. they have just opened an Italian resturant at epcot!

X

I was going to suggest holiday clothes too!!
Dry cleaners will definatly pack your dress for you if you are struggling.
Does your resort sort flowers, cake etc? How about getting nails etc done?

Can't believe it's so close!! Yay for being a Mrs!!!

Carly, i would never doubt your organisational skills, i just know youve got everything under control

Cant believe its so soon, i cant wait to see you and Maddi looking like princesses :cloud9:

oh ladies you always make me feel better!

pink - yep holiday clothes is my current task - getting all 3 of us ready is a mission and half! james is a nightmare  though why oh why they are bringing out autumn clothes now is beyond me  (i normally love it!) BUT do they not realise i'm getting married and need Florida clothes :haha: oh sweetie your honeymoons gonna be here so soon, and i'm going to be cooing and driving you nuts with reminiscing  (my poor laura yesterday was treated to 2006 florida pictures )

sparkle darling! your married :cloud9: treatments was the first thing on my 'too book' list and was sorted before the wedding breakfast  all done! spoke to the spa and book all treatments in resort on the first day at meeting with coordinator. they do everything bar nail fixes, i've had acrylics for years, but luckily i no where does them there  and i booked all my treatments with my normal salon here last week (i LOVE them!) yep resort sorts cake and flowers - have told them our colour - pink - and then we chose at wedding meeting!

oh holly you are kind! maddi looked like a princess in her dress, i was feeling more fairy elephant :dohh: i must admit, i haven't been my usual organised self, you no i normally like to control my situations  but i got too carried away with maddi's birthday and then i was like, oh f*** its july  i'm sure i've forgotten something important though!
