A new bride to be!

Hi Everyone,

Good Luck to you all who is getting married! We booked our wedding last Thursday for Tuesday 16th August 2011.

Me and Lee have been together 9 years this September. The date that we have booked our wedding for is the date that we got engaged on in 2003! I know its been a long engagement!

We are really excieted but worried about what we have to sort out! Is anyone else getting married next year or next August? We just have to phone the registry office to see if they are available!

We have been through so much with having a miscarriage last may. It has brought us closer than ever!

Woooo for booking the wedding!

I would have thought the registry office will be free, as it's plenty of time! We booked ours for a Saturday, giving them about 8 weeks notice and it's all fine!

Sorry to hear about your loss. We had 2 mc's last year so I know what you mean about bringing you closer than ever. We are the same.
We get married 23rd July 2011, not quite August but pretty close!
I agree that the registry office should be free, they have lots of time slots for the day and also a Tuesday should be a pretty quiet day. It's so romantic getting married on an anniversary. Our wedding day is our 4 year anniversary of meeting!!

Well just to update you

Booked registry office - 1.30pm on 16.08.11
Paid deposit at wedding venue today!

It all seems to be sloting into place! Just need to find a photographer! anyone in Nottinghamshire area have any they can recommend?
