Is it possible to fall pregnant a week after ovulating/one week before af is due?

I got asked this question, and I have no idea..

I think it's not possible at all. The only way it would be possible is if your ovulation dates were off and you actually ovulated a week or so late. The egg breaks down and is unable to be fertilized about a day or so after ovulation.

Absolutely, some women do get BFP's at 7dpo....so yes, it is possible. I just got mine at 8 dpo. I still have 6 days until AF is or was due. Good Luck to you and hope that helps!

Hearthappy, congrats The way I understood the question is that she was wondering if you can conceive a week after ovulation, not if you can see if you're pregnant with a test. If it's the latter, you're correct, if it's the former, I believe I'm correct.
