A quickie incision question..

Hi, to those who've had c-sections:

Is it normal for the incision to feel "hot"? Like not to touch.. but to feel like it's burning sort of? Not really overwhelmingly uncomfortable but an annoying sensation..

My nurse told me "yes, it's because you have a cut on your abdomen and it's open an inch or so".. but I'm not sure it's to do with the incision being open and the infection, it seems to be the rest of it I'm experiencing this "hotness" on?

I've had 2 sections (and one more to come) and I've never had that feeling. The most I've felt was it was still somewhat "numb" around my incision.. If it is infected I would think that is what it's from.. Hope you get to feeling better and take care..

I have never felt that either. Always just been numb around that area and every now and again an ichy feeling that lasts an hour or so.

Mine never felt like that either, just numb and itchy. xx
