A rant about bad drivers!

I hate people that tailgate when you are doing speed limit. I have only been driving 11mths. I dont want any points thanks very much!

I see you're in Sheffield, me too and I have so much trouble with a certain taxi company that operates in the city arrgghh! Last friday I was driving down a 30mph road that had speed bumps. Not wanting to bugger my car up (even more lol) I drove slowly over them. This taxi driver was attempting to overtake me on a single lane road, then when realising he couldn't he drove right up my bloody arse and kept honking me. I couldn't believe it! I had my three kids in the car, sorry but if you wanna drive recklessly that's your issue mate, don't endanger my family cos you're late to a job or something grrr! Then when I was pulling out of the car wash where the tramlines go, I was trying to turn right and this other taxi driver (same company) came and parked right alongside me to drop off his passengers. I couldn't see round him at all and couldn't pull further forward because I would have been sticking too far out. They are so goddamn arrogant and selfish around here. My uncle is a taxi driver in Hull and they're so much nicer. They often just pull up on main roads too, just stop and you just have to go round them. My husband always beeps them because apparently if you're in a taxi and the driver gets honked for bad driving you don't have to pay.

^ I cant make eye contact lol my OH always waves at them from the passenger seat if they are getting irate. First few times I stayed in the left lane but a few times recently I have ventured into the middle lane if I am stuck behind lorry etc. I agree its down to watching the other drivers etc.
The last time I drove in the motorway it was raining bad. It was not so bad though because MOST people were going about 50mph or even less but visibility was awful x

I've been driving two and a half years and have had quite a lot of experience on the M1 and it still takes me about half an hour to "get into it". At first I stay in the left lane, but once I get used to the speed I do like to zip about a bit now I drove all the way to southampton in the left lane but now I will zip about loads more. I do find myself speeding if others are, I think it's just natural to "keep up" with others but I do keep an eye on my speed. I've driven on the M1 in heavy rain, snow, in the middle of the night, during rush hour. It was most fun in the middle of the night because it was empty

It's so stupid, I always think people that try to intimidate on the roads are obviously lacking something satisfying in there lives.. I mean how pathetic is it to try intimidate someone when that person is driving like a twat. I feel sorry for them.. and use my brake a hell lot more if someone is stuck up my arse! x

I hate people driving up my arse too, makes me so angry! I thought I was being clever slowing down but my mum went on a speed awareness cause and they told her that you should slow down in case there is an accident.

I remember once I pulled out onto a 30 road and there was a jaguar coming along but I thought I had loads of time to pull out, until I realised he was doing about 50mph! Obviously annoyed that I didn't account for his stupid speed he then preceded to drive right up may arse, literally all I could see from my rear view mirror was his ugly head in his windscreen and he was clearly irate. He went to overtake so I beeped my horn and flicked him the finger, then when he pulled back in front of me he was literally inches away from my bonnet, he saw the 2 kids in the back of my car too.

I agree OP always seems worse when my skinhead muscleman hubby isn't in the car, he's been known to get out of his car at traffic lights and ask people what the hell they're doing when they do the same to him, wish he was there that day. That man definitely had small dick syndrome ha ha, love it!

I use the M6 to visit my parents, i always start my journey about 7ish at night because oh some people are idiots! However a couple of Christmasses ago i was traveling down on 21st December and it was all empty...that scared me more
