A strange period?

Hi Ladies

My periods are very predictable. They start on exactly the day it should and lasts for 4-5 days. It is fairly moderate to light.
On saturday as predicted I came on. This was first thing in the morning, not too heavy but got lighter over the weekend and seemed to have tailored off towards the evening. Now it has ended after just 48hrs (max). Is this normal? I do not think I am pregnant as I did a test friday (got my dates mixed up) and it was negative. Does this ever occasionally happen to anyone else?

Yeah this has happened to me in the past, have you been on birth control recently? Progesterone levels and uterine thickness can be affected by things like that and they can affect your period. I really wouldn't worry at all though! x

I'm dealing with the same. I just saw my gyn for it and she said sometimes there are just wacky periods. She felt bad she couldn't give me a better answer. Buy she checked everything and did a pregnancy test so shrugs
