Abnormal cycle

I have been tracking my bbt for the two of the past three cycles since stopping bcp. Before bcp and even after stopping it I have a regular 28 to 29 day cycles. The first one I tracked bbt, I ovulated CD 18. The second one, I decided to just relax and not focus too much on tracking. This cycle, however, I tracked with bbt and opk. I never got a positive opk, and although I felt my body gearing up to ovulate, I didn't get a temp shift...that is until CD 28. I am now on CD 31 and my temps are still high. Anyone have an experience with this? I'm confused because I have always gotten my period between 28 and 29 days.

Ovulation can be delayed by lots of things - stress/illness etc. Considering you have come off bcp it is to be expected for 6-12 months to be a bit wacky. If your temp stays up then it is just delayed ovulation and may just be a one off. See how it goes. X
