Hi lovely lady

I am new to all this but am hoping for some help as you all seem so knowledgeable. I suffered a mmc in march at 12 weeks went for routine 12 week scan and they couldn't fond a hearbeat. We are now trying ttc again and really hoping it doesnt take as long as the first time. I have heard that acupuncture can help with fertility has anyone tried it? I just feel like I need to be doing something that may help!

I am not sure if it is normal but I still feel very sad ay what I have lost and it's so hard especially when everyone around me seems to be pregnant it seems so unfair! Is it normal to feel like this.

Sorry for the ramble

I have never tried it but heard good things about it on this forum before. x

I had acupuncture and firmly believe it made the difference for me conceiving my first pregnancy  Unfortunately pregnancy ended in a mmc (like you I got to 12 week scan but :baby: had stopped developing around 6 weeks )

We had been trying to conceive unsuccessfully for 12 months, I had acupuncture 3 times in a month and conceived that month! I felt ovulation pains very strongly, it felt like acupuncture 'woke my body up' in some way. I believe something may have been slightly out of balance with me and acupuncture rectified whatever it was

I am now in my first month TTC again and have acupuncture booked for next Wednesday :happydance: I am hoping it helps me conceive again very quickly x

PS: It doesn't hurt. The needles are extremely fine and all you feel is a little sting as they go in (some of them you don't feel at all, it depends what part of the body it is)

I also think accupuncture was what made the difference for me. We had been trying 5 years with no luck and I concieved after 3 and a half months of acupuncture. Unfortunatley I also had a mmc.
Definatley worth a try if you can afford it x

That is my only concern it is very expensive! How many sessions did you have in a week and does it matter when in your cycle you start it? Thanks for all your replies x x

I had my first session at the end of the previous cycle (a few days before AF came), then had my 2nd a week after that (just as AF was finishing). I then didn't have a 3rd until 3 weeks later (acupuncturist was on holiday) at about 8dpo that cycle (so I had actually already conceived unknown to me, so actually conceived after only 2 sessions ).

I don't really know if it makes any difference when in your cycle you have it. My session next week is likely to fall after I've ov'd so I can only hope it may help with implantation if eggy is caught  But if not I hope it may help next cycle x
