Here's my story so far!

I'm 38 years old and have a son who's nearly 13 by my first husband. I remarried 4 years ago and my new husband is 10 years younger than me.

Dec 2006 - Full thyroid removal

Jan 2008 - starting TTC

May 2008 - Pregnant - July 2008 - MMC, 1 Blighted Ovum & 1 Bean/9 weeks.

Nov 2008 - Chemical Pregnancy - Gyn took bloods to check clotting and chroms - All okay

Dec 2008 - :bfp: but misscarried 10th Jan :hissy:

On the 11th Feb I'm back at the gyn for further investigation and I'm awaiting on an appointment for my Thyroid surgeon to discuss thyroid and misscarriage.

Sorry for the big long story so I'll get to the point. After researching the Net (I know this can be the worse thing someone can do but can't resist ) I've came across Acupuncture for RCM and I'm booked in for this saturday to have my first session :happydance: See link (this isn't who I'm going to) https://www.acupuncturebydrlee.com/Acupuncture-for-Miscarriage.html

Has anyone tried this?

Hi there
Sorry for your losses.
I personally haven't tried accupuncture, but a friend of mine tried reflexology after 2 missed carriages and swears by it. She is due to give birth in about a month.
I think there's definately something in it.

Thanks Organge Lady!

The woman I'm going to on saturday also does reflexology. I think this is a route I'll stick to plus it's nice and relaxing (well maybe not when they are sticking needles into me ) I'm a great believer in alternative medicines when I discovered them for my son's hayfever and asthma.

That's great about your friend :happydance: and I think you might be right in thinking there is something in it.

I'll keep you posted

I've heard reflexology is great. A girl I used to work with had a miscarriage, then she had reflexology and a successful pregnancy.

I will ask her about reflexology on saturday :happydance:
