Hi ladies

So after trying for baby number 2 for just over a year, I've sought alternative medicine to help me along.

Baby one was conceived after almost 2 yrs thanks to IUI and acupuncture. We had unexplained infertility. We tried iui again last year but it didn't work  we then decided to take a break.

I've started to go to acupuncture again with massage (focus on abdominal massage) and am taking some herbal teas now. Anybody in the same boat?

Hi
DH and I have been trying for many years now  and we are giving the natural treatment route a go while we wait to come up on the wait list for IVF at the end of this year. So even if we do not get pregnant during this natural process, at least we will be the healthiest we can be when IVF comes

We went last Wednesday to a 1.5hrs appointment with a natural medicine doctor who specializes in fertility and comes highly recommended by my GP. Also an acquaintance of ours has been successful in having a baby under her care.

The first step is detoxing for a month (both of us using MediHerb P2 Detox) and pump us up with nutrients and specific vitamins that will have us be in optimal conditions to conceive (both through diet and specific vitamin complex)

I am meeting with her in a week and a half when she will have all the results of my test to date related to fertility and TTC from my GP. Then she is going to put us on some natural herbal tea remedies to help with optimal hormone levels at different times of my cycle and herbs to help with DH optimal health of swimmers. She is also going to get me to do a test for gluten allergy and test my thyroid.

We lived in Taiwan for about four years and turned to multiple aspects of traditional Chinese medicine many times to aid with different health issues. I would be very interested to hear about your treatment as well as happy to let you know what herbal teas my doctor puts us on :flower:

About the acupuncture... how often do you go? is it only on certain times of the cycle for a specific purpose (like ovulation and stimulate production of hormones for implantation, etc) or throughout your cycle?

I am prepared to try anything really at this stage... but aren't we all :hugs:
