thanks um i actually have no idea haha, i only found out on tuesday that im pregnant and i was in such shock i think that the doctor didnt tell me much...i know i need a scan at the 10-12 week mark though right?

ahh i have so mamy questions, im so new and clueless!

We live in the NE suburbs of Adelaide. Had our first child at the Women's and Children's and were very happy with their service and support.

Oh and yes usually u get ur first scan at around 12 weeks to take measurements and make sure everything is developing as it should be

I can apparently have shared care between my doctors here in the hills as they are quite equipped and then the rest ill go to womens and childrens because my mum said they were really good with her when she had all us kids
and my doctor is really good at advice and answering my silly questions haha so that helps.
so happy i found this thread, its so cool to be able to speak to other people in adelaide!

I am going to be doing shared care with my GP at Wynn Vale and then having the baby at the Women's and Children's Hospital. I had my first baby there and they were fantastic couldn't have been any happier. Great hospital great service.

hi guys i'm 16 weeks. currently living in western suburbs but moving to salisbury north soon as my bf lives there. i am having my baby at womens and chldrens due may 15th. be great to make some friends here as no one i know here has children

Hi girls, i am in adelaide. it is really hot, how are you o-pregnant ones with the heat!! DD wants to go to the pool but the pool is a 45 min - 1 hr drive . Looks like when will have to!!! I well come back after and tell you what it was like!!

Hi all

I just moved to Adelaide from Melbourne a few months ago and I'm looking for an ob/gyn. We've been trying on and off for two years and I want to get an ultrasound to make sure all the tubes are clear... I have a doctor but he doesn't really have a clue as to where to send me, or where I don't have to have private health to see an ob/gyn.... Can any of you ladies help? I live in the hills (around blackwood).

I went to Repromed when we had been trying for a year. They checked DH's sperm count n all that but didnt do any other checks due to getting pregnant.

Maybe give them a call to make an appointment to talk to someone. The specialise in IVF and Reproductive health unfortunately they are in Dulwich which is just outside the city but worth it

I actually followed up with my doc on Monday and he found me an OB/GYN at Adelaide Obstetrics (who funnily enough is one of the Docs that also work at Repromed). Have my first appointment next month. FX'd I don't need it!

Where in Adelaide are u all??....I was west for the last 2 years, but grew up South and have moved down South again now!

Im married with a little girl (Elleah) she is 17 months old and we will be TTC for number two prob early next year! Love to learn a bit more about you all!! x
