Advice on baby unable to open mouth wide enough to latch correctly

My sister's kids all had posterior tt and all had to have it snipped in order to feed - actually the eldest didn't as they didn't diagnose it at first so she ended up with the bottle. I think my sister had to do it privately.

My sister is a breast feeding support worker and she obviously believes it does affect feeding for obvious reasons.
