AF after miscarriage - help please if poss (maybe TMI!)

Goodevening ladies
I was wondering if anyone could give me a touch of advise as I am slowly driving myself mad lol!
I miscarried on 12th Jan it was a missed pregnancy so the bleed was like a period really. The only thing is I havn't had a prolonhged bleed since then and I am making myself mental about this. A week past Sunday I had some cramping and bleeding when I wiped but it never came to anything the same thing happened again on Monday past and then again yesterday - I have done three preggers tests that all came back negative. It has been about seven weeks now since my last 'period' started and I am totally fed up, knackered, crabby and spotty (lol), the cramping and back pain have stopped for now I think but I am so fed up....So anyway my question is does anyone know when a period might come after a miscarriage? I just want to get on with trying but am a bit lost at the moment...sigh....

Sorry to hear of your loss sweetie.

How far along do you think you would of been? as this affects how much you bleed.

I know that women are different but the doc said to me that there would be bleeding on and off for the next few weeks that sounds like what you could have.

When i got my first AF after m/c i knew it was defo my period as it was very heavy and very emotional. It brought it all bk to me. I had my period about 6 and a half weeks after the m/c. I think the docs say it could be upto 12 weeks. Until your body gets back to normal.

If your worried sweetie go and see your doc they will be able to give you a better answer.

thanks for replying we don't know how far on I was as it was not expected but I hadn't had a period for about seven to eight weeks it is rubbish really am just desperate to get back to normal but with no period i keep having little episodes of hope only for them to be dashed when i get a bfn.

Im not 100% sure sweetie, but why dont you call EPAU for some advice?? Might give you a bit of reassurance?? Let me know what they say so that I know what to expect too. I'm waiting for my 1st af too, but only been 2 wks. PM me hun. XXXX
