AF after Miscarriage

Hi ladies I know it's basically just a waiting game for your first af after miscarriage and everyone is different however general consensus from various sources says roughly 4-6 weeks. Is that 4-6 from start of miscarriage bleeding of the end? I bled for almost 2 weeks so obviously this will be a big difference. Thanks in advance x

I had a late miscarriage at 19 weeks, but it was bang on 5 weeks after I gave birth to my son. I was worried that she wasn't coming, but she came. After giving birth to my daughter it came at 5 weeks also, so for me 5 weeks is my average. However, depending where you are some doctors say it can take as long as 8 weeks!

Mine came 5 weeks after the bleeding started with both miscarriages. Hope this helps you get an idea of time. My ob said it could be anywhere from 4 to 8 weeks ...he was only going to be concerned if it had been more than 8weeks.

With my chemical (mc at 5 wks) I started right at 4 weeks after.
with my other two (7wks and 11 wks) AF came right at 5 weeks after bleeding started.

My doc actually told me AF could hit anywhere from 3 weeks to 6 months after. Thank goodness it was nowhere near that 6 month mark for me, either time! I thought that seemed a little extreme.
