We have found that it is very easy to come onto these forums and post all about yourself and expect responses but not really feel the need to reciprocate or ask questions to others on the thread... (we call it the TTC-self-centered-syndrome or the Your-not-the-only-one-TTC syndrome) either way- not pretty

SO if you are interested in some good buddies that care- feel free to join us on our quest to become mommies!!

My recap:

-I am 28, have been TTC #1 since October 2010.
-We got pg right away but I lost the baby at 11 weeks and had a D+C
-we weren't able to get pg again after that despite trying everything we could think of
-started BBT in Jan 2011
got a CBFM in April 2011 (love that thing!)
-We saw a specialist in September 2011 and an HSG revealed a large Uterine Septum
-I had surgery (lap and hysteroscopic) to remove the septum in Nov 2011, and my RE found I had Stage III Endometriosis which he removed
-Had to have another surgery (hysteroscopic) in Jan 2012 to remove more scar tissue
-I am also pre diabetic and RE put me on Metformin to regulate my cycles- they are SUPER irregular (range 26-38 days)
- I also started Clomid in Feb 2012 (still on first cycle)
- I will have an u/s on Friday (2/17) to see how I am responding to Clomid

What I love about TTC: poas!
What I hate most about TTC: losing faith in my body and feeling crazy all the time
silliest TTC thing I do: Ah there are many... Id have to say it all comes down to my obsessive nature- I use IC OPKs as well as OPK digitals, as well as my CBFM around O. ( I was a girl scout)

Couldn't have said it better myself, Laine! TTC is very stressful, and where I can see some women focusing on themselves because it's THAT mind-consuming.. I know I would like to be talked to. Feel free to join us, throughout this process we will post OPK pictures, as well has BFN and BFP HCG tests. We are in this together!!!

My recap:

I am 26, my husband Patrick (30) and I are on our 3rd month of TTC. We had an unplanned pregnancy that we miscarried on Feb 10th, 2011. We waited until we got married, and settled in our new house to actually TTC. December '11, I did test positive..however, the pregnancy ended in a chemical. I'm pretty regular, and holding strong at about a 28 day schedule. I test with OPK's and from what I have been gathering- I ovulate on cd 13-14.

Laine and I met on another thread located in the TWW. We have since gotten to know each other pretty well, and I honestly couldn't imagine going through this alone.

As I said earlier, we will post OPKs and HCG tests looking for opinions. At times, there will be TMI discussed..but honestly if we can't be open with each other- who can we be open with?

looks like its just us for now Think we scared them away with our 'rules'??

so I meant to tell you earlier, normally around this time I have a good amount of cm but NOTHING. (might as well just launch into the tmi!)
so... I think the Clomid dried me up!! BAH!

Im on my 2nd day of no allegra (I feel SO yuck my head is freaking KILLING me) and Im also taking mucinex to help in that department but alas- nada...
we DTD yesterday (1st Bd of the cycle!) and it was fine (I was worried I would need to use the preseed) but if I dont have good cm all the time then how will the sperm survive?? they wont thats how- POO!

Im going to go poas soon. Ive been trying to hold it. Im SO bad at holding it!!
I may have to use FMU, otherwise it wont ever be too concentrated.
I know a lot of women say not to use FMU for OPKs but honestly- whats the diff?

Maybe the clomid is giving you a dry spell, in the meantime, use pre-seed. It will only help, and that's what it's used for!!! Hopefully you won't need to have CM all the time in order to conceive, maybe the pre-seed will provide just enough lubricant and nourishment to bring that little spermie to the eggo, making you preggo!!

hey- that rhymed! thanks for that. Im hoping it is A OK too. The dr's visit on Fri should clear up questions like that. Hope those follies are growing well and that there are like 2. Dont think I want more than 2...

so how are you feeling? not long til AF is due- have you been experiencing any new symptoms?

I did my OPK- neg like yesterdays. not worth taking a picture.. I start with all 3 OPK tests tomorrow am. Im going to use FMU, I think it is better that way. I just cannot hold it- no idea how women do that. plus I hate not drinking water for more than 2 hours, its so bad for you.

stupid TTC, making me sick with allergies, dehydrated and desperate to pee! LOL, not funny...
this baby better be worth it. JUST KIDDING. although I do think, what happens when they grow up and say crappy things to us like "I hate you" its like. "no. you dont get to hate me you little shyster, do you have any idea how freakin hard it was to have you?!"

Don't want to have to play that card but I will!!

do you have any fun plans for this weekend (besides poas on Saturday am with fervor)?

Poor Laine, Izzy making you sick!!! There's gotta be something else you can take beside mucinex, although I've read women take that every cycle to increase CM. Hope it will kick in for you

No symptoms here, but I do have CM right now, normally I'm dry after 8dpo. I think I'm gonna give AF until Sunday-Monday, then test if it hasn't arrived. But I'm sure she will show right on schedule. I would rather it happen today, so I can start the new cycle. That way you and I will test OPKs and HCGs at the same time.

Patrick and I have already talked about famous quotes we'll be using when it comes time. You know, like the whole "because I'm the Mom". Or "I used to walk to school uphill, both ways" haha- see how long it takes for him/her to catch on!

Nothing planned for the weekend. Patrick wants to go to another furniture store to check out more beds, that might be all. I welcome quiet weekends with him

youre so cute... a nice quiet weekend does sound mighty fine. we have dinner with friends on Friday and then hopefully a movie on Saturday night.

uphill, both ways- HA! love it!
so get this, I am SUCH a ninkenpoop. When you use a CBFM, you are meant to reset it on cd1 of your cycle and then it counts the days and gives you a testing window in the am after about cd 8. I TOTALLY forgot to reset it this month and now it is too late!!! you only 5 freaking days to reset it, once you are outside of that, you are cooked. how sucky is that?!
so now I cant use it this month. stupid thing thinks im on cd48. (glad thats not true) so it will just be the CB digital OPKs and the IC's for me this month I hate that, cause the monitor tells me ahead of time when I will O... although it may not have worked properly with the Clomid...
anyhoo. I could kick myself. if you were here, I would ask you to kick me for me.
SHEESH.

oh well, let it go. letting it goooo.

I tell you what IF for whatever reason the dr says the clomid didnt work and this cycle is a bust, at least he can get my AF started with provera and I could reset my CBFM AND take my beloved allegra. silver lining... but seriously, my nasal passages hurt so bad... Im worried that I might get sick. thats what happens when I dont get the allegra everyday- I get this nasty dripping stuff in my stomach and then I get a sickness like sore throat, sinusitis, etc...

ARG! TTC sucks... poo in a shoe...

oh yes, and I meant to say that although I know what you are saying about wanting to start your new cycle, but you aren't out yet kid!!

I think cm is a good sign after O... what 'kind' is it? (gross question sorry) but if it is white or yellow creamy that is often a pg symptom...

That sucks!!!!! Well, my guess is that you won't need the CBFM. Your OPKs will be beautiful, and you will certainly feel ovulation happening. It sounds like the clomid is making your uterus, tubes and ovaries more sensitive. I mean.. you were in pain after your HSG.
So how does it work...if you have too many follies, provera will bring your period on? Hm. It's not going to happen!!! You will have just enough follicles to make this cycle viable.

Alright, sooo my CM is white, but dryish. So weird!

I finally got a teeeeeny bit of cm today, not much at all. I cant believe how 'dry' Clomid has made me... 40% of women who use clomid also are affected in that their lining thins... If I have that too Im cooked and this cycle will be a bust. I crossing all my finger/toes that Im not in that 40%!!
