Hey Fellow TTC'ers
Hope your all well.
Just wanted to find out other ladies experiences of coming off contraception to start TTC.
I've been on & off contraception since DD was born (Sep '10). I went back on Mircogynon but came off that after a few months and was put on Cilest but came of that because it was giving me terrible migraines so was then put on Cerazette about a year ago & half ago. Decided to try depo end of last year - had 2 shots of that but didnt get on with it so went back on Cerazette in March! Cor a lot of contraception ah!! So, i took 4 months worth of Cerazette but took my last pill June 27th after OH & I decided to start trying for bubba #2
I've always had periods while on contraception. Sometimes there were a bit all over the place but while on depo/cerazette i had regular monthly cycles - around 30 days. So i was due a period 30th June which happened but since then i've had nothing. Was expecting next AF to be 30th July but that never came. I went through of stage of thinking "oh well i could be pregnant" and i think i've done about 10 tests in the last 3-4 weeks!! lol before finally thinking "Right stop being stupid, your not doing anymore tests". Im fairly relaxed with it all. Like, although we obviously want baby number 2 I dont mind if its this month of in 5 months. I'm just trying to go with it. Obviously if time went on and still nothing happened id start to get anxious but at the minute im OK to wait. Im not charting temps or using OPKS etc.
So yeah, last period was 30th June and not had once since. Im not pregnant as the 10 tests have told me im not lol. So its now day 49 since last pill and day 46 since last AF. We're still obviously DTD although i dont know if i am ovulating or "back to normal" and am just thinking if it happens it happens.
But i just wanted to know other people experiences with coming of concraception, AF returning. how long your cycles took to regulate and how quickly (or not so) you got your BFP?
Thanks in advance for all replies
Laura
