After MMC, when did you start ttc and when did you conceive?

Hi girls, was hoping you could help me.
I just had a very early mmc, embryo passed away at 6+6, discovered at 8+1 and d&c. no bleeding, no spotting, was a silent miscarriage.
doctor told me my uterus and cervix would be healed/shrink back to normal by 2 weeks latest based on the "earliness" of the mmc and I could start trying again next cycle.
Anyone had an early silent mmc and a d&C ? when did you start trying again and when did you first AF appear after the D&C? how long did it take for you to get pregnant again?

I had a MMC discovered at 11 weeks but no growth beyond 6 weeks. We started trying straight away and it took 5 cycles to get a BFP. It's difficult to predict how long it will take because we're all different. Good luck! xxx

I had a mmc but though it was only discovered at 15 weeks and the pregnancy had continued (the placenta was well formed for example); the baby had not developed past 9 weeks. It took me 6 weeks for my AF to return which was to be expected considering the relatively late stage at which this happened, I did miscarry naturally as well because I felt more comfortable with that and my consultant advised me that may be a better route to take for me personally. It took 6 months from my AF coming back to conceive though I had a suspected chemical in December (I didn't test before it though; but the bleeding was very miscarriage like and there were other signs it wasn't just a heavy AF). Before the MMC my periods had become extremely far apart and irregular and afterwards it was like a massive reset button had been pressed; but my husband and I decided not to actively try again, and just see what happens. In this pregnancy I was worried the same would happen again but I've had two early scans and I feel a lot more hopeful about this pregnancy now. All the best.

I had a MMC discovered at 12 weeks, baby had died at 9, I had the D&C at 15 because nothing was happening. It took around 3 months to get back to something resembling normal (long AFs, one of 34 days, skipped ovulation etc). AF originally showed up about 5 weeks after the D&C. Took us 7-8 months after that to get this BFP.

thanks ladies, glad to see all of you are having healthy wonderful pregnancies after the mmcs. lightened things up for me.
right now, am just waiting for af to show up then i can start my clearblue monitor again. my pre d&C hcg were quite low at around 15000, so i hope it drops quickly.

I had a mmc around 12 weeks, I found out at 9 weeks and the bean had stopped growing long before that. My Obgyn didn't even offer D&C but told me to let it happen naturally and I could start trying next cycle. I got my BFP on the third cycle and hopefully this one sticks

Had a MMC which resulted in a D&C in September...Started trying in February - took 2 cycles and am now 12 weeks...Still a little nervous since I've had some complications (currently have a PICC line for severe hyperemesis and have had some spotting on and off) but am trying to be optimistic. I didn't have a missed mc, just a mc at 5+ weeks. I lost the baby on 21st April and got my bfp on May 23, no af in between. We basically never stopped trying - as soon as the bleeding was over from the mc. Dr said there was no reason to wait and fingers crossed, this one is here for the long haul !

I'm the same as smudge. mc naturally 29 April at 6 weeks. Very little bleeding like 6 days. got a BFP May 30. no AF in between.

i had a MMC before my first baby, had a D&C baby had stopped growing about 8 weeks, we started trying straight away as i felt ready emotionally too. Didn't have an AF and caught straight away, all was well with that pregnancy and with my little girl too x
