Agave Nectar is bad??!

    Crap I just ate a lot of it in coconut milk ice cream

    I hear that it's really, really high in fructose (I think that's the one?) so it isn't really any better for you than sugar or honey.

    There's some concern about it causing contractions but I think it's another one of those things where you'd have to ingest immense quantities for it to have any terrible effects, like pineapple. In moderation I think you'll be fine :)

    Edit: Nope I'm wrong, it's lower on the glycemic scale but it has the same amount of calories as sugar or honey. I should get my facts straight!

    Baby is really kicking around and I have no cramps so guess I am ok!

    I haven't heard that it is bad for pregnancy. But I could be wrong. Did you read something that said it was bad for pregnancy?
