I hear that it's really, really high in fructose (I think that's the one?) so it isn't really any better for you than sugar or honey.
There's some concern about it causing contractions but I think it's another one of those things where you'd have to ingest immense quantities for it to have any terrible effects, like pineapple. In moderation I think you'll be fine
Edit: Nope I'm wrong, it's lower on the glycemic scale but it has the same amount of calories as sugar or honey. I should get my facts straight!
