I think it has some nice meanings! I say if you like it, use it! It's a great name!

Besides, the definition of a hollow is: A small valley between mountains; "he built himself a cabin in a hollow high up in the Appalachians"

I am beginning to agree with this...there are too many lovely names with not so lovely meanings

However, I adore the name kory and was one of my first suggestions to hubby who simply dismissed it like he has pretty much all my ideas so far.....and the search goes on............ x

I wouldn't say not to worry about meanings, but I'm a long-time name enthusiast so I don't think a name would have come to be my favorite without knowing it's meaning.

The name does have good meanings though, the Germanic and English meanings are God's Peace. Two out of three, not bad. And the meaning with hollow in it isn't that bad, it's someone who lives in a hollow.
