All these riots everywhere!!!

liverpool one is being shut early to let staff get home before kick off, ive told paul i want him to leave then aswell, im not having him put his life in danger for £20 wagesx

Without wishing to be overdramatic, with everything I'm hearing I'd say that was a good idea, Hun. I certainly wouldn't want to be out in the City tonight.

Have to be honest, to have any hope of stopping this in it's tracks we should hope for rain. A whole poo-load of it.

Just incase anyone is nearby Leeds, there is rumours about riots in Chapeltown & Harehills tonight :( xx

I think they mean on the rioters side of things and also the police clamp down tonight aswell

There now pleading on main news for people to stay in, do-not let your children out, please stay in, and they said its going to get bad tonight, really serious and bad. OMG how bad can it get

That doesnt sound good :nope:

It's purely something to focus people on something nice, it shows that people can come together without it turning nasty... although entirely impractical I suppose it may comfort some xx

Pink Flowers, I meant like the surrounding area, I hope they don't kick off in the town centre there aswell coz' that means my town, birmingham & telford, where the hell will i bloody shop :dohh:

Can anyone tell me how far away Oxted is from all of this? Im sorry, i dont know the south very well

Hope everyone is safe xxx

BTW I hate how the BBC and Sky have since this morning focused only on Ealing and Clapham probably because they are rich areas, many other areas of London were seriously damaged and looted last night, Hackney was the main one and I have no idea what is going on there now, and in Ilford, Barking and around there there were looting, fires and roadblocks set up by rioters if it wasn't for LBC and relatives there you'd have no idea xx

not all that far I'm afraid; especially considering how rioting spread last night to areas of Kent and the very far south of London/Surrey borders (Oxted is in Surrey) xx

My brother is in the army (TA) and his commanding officer has said to be on standby as they may well be called upon. So he has got all his combat gera ready. Do you think they will call them out? x

Strathclyde Police have said they arrested a 16 year old boy in Glasgow for trying to encourage riots.

525 arrests since Saturday and more than 100 charged already!!

It's a little bit out the way connahs mummy, i'm going by the map x
