All these riots everywhere!!!

So here's a loaded question. Will anyone here consider changing their own parenting tactics to include stronger discipline on their own LOs... to ensure the same "lost generation" isn't repeated? xx

i'm sure as hell going to make sure she doesn't go
around burning things and robbing people

if it was my child they'd get a beating :growlmad:

When sentences/punishments become lenient, and parents are prosecuted for discipling their children, when fear of authority dissipates and a preoccupation with explaining actions away becomes the norm you are left with the destruction seen across the UK. The depressing thing is that the police can no longer keep us safe.

they shouldn't poke sticks at people who aren't involved, so what about your age & wether you're on benefits or not :grr: 10 points to anyone who guesses my age :haha:

I'm actually scared to put the news on!

i know :smug:

Nearly SS, Jenny SHUTUP!

I can't believe how many of the people are getting bailed, we all know where they'll be tonight

At the bottom mentions about a car of 4 indian guys and some black guys smashed the window in and poured petrol on the car

Its gotten into racial debate now. On the EDL forums they say their going to use the riots as a cover up and go bomb all the Mosques!

Im meant to be at Mosque tonight..... thinking weather to go or not!!

I always thought to myself growing up that i didnt wanna be a parent that was as strict as my parents were with us...

However judging by how we have turned out, i dont now think its such a bad thing. Having 3 older brothers, none of which have ever been in trouble with the police, all went to uni and finished there educations and are just generally good rounded individuals...id be pretty surprised if the same wouldve happened if they were parented in a less relaxed way...I dunno really, but being a little strict cant do too much harm in moderation and when its needed is fine.

Something all of these kids causing this havoc havent ever had i suspect!

mummyandbump, just said in another thread but  i'm a born Wednesbury born girl!
