I budget £60 a week but spend more some weeks than others so it all evens out. Personally I think how much you spend depends on a lot of factors: family size, how often you eat out/buy takeaways/have meals elsewhere eg. At a relatives house, whether you're brand loyal or not, whether you drink or not etc.
