Am I Miscarrying? Please share your stories too?

Hi Ladies,

I'm very confused about what's going on, wondered if anyone had any insight or similar stories? Good and bad please!

Lmp 03 April.
Ovulation / conception 16 April used opks.
Positive test 30 April.

Early ultrasound at 6 weeks showed a small 5w sac with debris and no baby. Was told 100% sure no chance. Dr wanted me to wait a week to miscarry then have d&c.

A week later I still feel very sick and went to a different dr for an ultrasound then d&c. They found 2 sacs, 1 empty, 1 measuring 5w5d with a very slow heart rate of 80.

So am now waiting another week to see what will happen.

Hgc was 8200 at 6 weeks, then 25000 at 7 weeks.
Progesterone was 18 at 6 weeks, then 12 at 7 weeks.
Symptoms are still strong.

I don't know what to think?! My first pregnancy was uncomplicated. I'm lost with all this.

What does anyone think please? What would you be thinking?

I truly think it could go either way! I'm sorry I don't have a better answer. Keep faith that the second baby will hang on!

Unfortunately it sounds like you've miscarried. At 7 weeks you should see a yolk sac and fetal pole usually with a heartbeat. I've had a missed miscarriage as well. It's heartbreaking. I decided to have cytotec to speed things along as my body was holding onto everything and I wanted to move on. In happier news my next cycle I got pregnant with my rainbow baby boy. I wish you all the best.

Update. Had another ultrasound at 8w5d. No growth and heartbeat stopped. Had a d&c the following day. The procedure was fine, nowhere near as terrifying as a c section. I feel peaceful that my body did the right thing. Good luck to everyone.
