Am i the only one not obsessed with knowing baby's sex before bith?

We decided not to find out because I feel it's too clinical to be told by a dr/ sonographer. I'd rather find out for ourselves. I can't wait for my husband to tell me we have a baby son/ daughter! I am a little bit curious and I have been tempted to post the scan pics on here to see what people guess! We haven't bought a single item yet and baby will sleep in our room for six months anyway, so that gives plenty of time to decorate the baby's room!

I've found it's completely the opposite, more and more people are choosing not to know and even seem shocked to the point of disgust when I say I am finding out LOL "Oh really, you want to know? Really?" :) each to their own, I'm too impatient to wait and want to start colour specific shopping! I'm sick of beige!

We aren't finding out to do the nursery as the baby will be sleeping into our room till we move out flat or to do the shopping but just by curiosity. We have been given some second hand clothes from 2 baby girls, out of it 95% of it was pink and TBH it almost gave me headache.

Thanks Ladies. All your replies have been really informative and insightful. For those of you who want to know, i respect that, my impression was there seem to be more posts about finding out gender than those in team yellow hence the post. As for using the term obsessed, some of you seemed to take exception to it but that is my impression. Some ladies get really worked up about it but so what? If it important to you you have the right to get worked up about it. We all do what is right for us but what is the point of this forum if we cant discuss things openly and with respect? My final words.....go team yellow! There are certainly more of us than i ever imagined hence so the objective of this thread has been achieved.
