It does Ozzie, it makes me sad that man-made borders are the things that are preventing people from having a better life. Does every adult not deserve a good job, the ablity to feed their children, a nice warm home? Does every child not deserve food, a warm home and opportunities? Why should the location you were born change those things? I know if I was in a situation where I couldnt keep my children safe, feed my children and put a roof over their head then yes I would do anything and everything in my power to change that, illegal immigrant or not.

Soooo, non-hispanic people don't commit identity fraud? Just because there is one bad apple doesn't mean they all are. I wouldn't put them all in a group and banish them back to their country because a few made bad choices. That would be like people saying all American's are bad because of what Charles Manson did.

If you look at the statistics for identity theft, Hispanic persons are not committing the majority of identity theft in the USA

If my country was having a drug war and killing for no reason, you bet your ass I would try to waddle my pregnant ass right across that border to give birth in America so at least my baby will get citizenship.

What happens if the child is an American citizen and the parents are illegal immigrants and get caught? Does the child just get thrown into the foster system and parents get shipped back across the border? Wouldn't it make more sense just to make the immigration process easier to keep the family together?

If the parents aren't married or sometimes, even if they are, the father is usually sent back, but the mother gets to stay with the child I saw many cases of this when interning with the USAO

In Canada we don't deal with identity theft using Nazi tactics, why would it be ok to do this anywhere else? I'm travelling through Turkey on a bus right now, would be terribly offended if police came up to me demanding my passport at will in the name of stopping identity theft.

That has happened to me in Turkey . The jandarma called me off a bus from Dalaman to Fethiye to check my passport. They actually only wanted to make sure i was okay and not being held against my will . I should have said yes, it would have saved me a fortune in divorce costs .

I have travelled quite a lot Hong Kong, Thailand, Turkey (i lived there though), Holland, Germany etc and the only place i've ever been asked for ID was Tescos when i bought some wine .

If i ever found out someone had stolen my little angels identity i would freak out. Thankfully though there is only 1 person in the entire UK with my married surname, so it would be easy to find out.

The mother isn't granted citizenship. She is strongly advised to get her green card sorted out

If an immigrant gave birth to her baby on American soil they would NOT take that baby away and put it in foster care and ship the mother to her native land, that would not happen..She most likely would be aloud to stay if not the baby would go with their mother/

Yes Identity theft happens with the hispanics. I've seen it numerous times. They have people who watch the births in the newspapers and deaths. They hire people to gather up social security numbers and sell them to illegal immigrants for a ridiculous amount of money. Sad that they get taken advantage of. Yes they should make getting her legally easier then we wouldn't have the problem.

The reason Arizona passed that law was because of all the drug activity associated with illegal immigrants that is taking place. The drug cartel is a huge problem down there. I was reading up on Obamacare some more last night and guess what? Yup you guessed it illegal immigrants will be able to get Medicaid and Medicare! How is that right?! I don't think making all the law breakers citizens is the answer and I don't think that illegal immigrants babies should be made automatic citizens.

I'm not a heartless racist person. I feel for them I do and I think if America made it easier for them to do it legally then we wouldn't have such a nasty problem. I'm all for abiding by the laws of the land.

Thats cause the Identity theft is in the millions every year. But yes they are commiting it.

Someone mentioned that they do jobs that many Americans won't do...I strongly disagree with that. With the unemployment rate what it is right now I know MANY Americans that would be willing to do any job!
