I got my AMH results on Friday - 34.6 pmol/L - i am 35 years old.

I am super confused as my DR was not able to clearly give me a result breakdown so i am been scouring the internet for a guide as to what my reading means. I saw one chart which shows my reading is in the 'Optimal Fertility' range but then i saw another chart which shows that for my age the reading is very high and from the research i did, a high reading means you have a lot of eggs for your age which can mean you are not ovulating or ovulating frequently.

Keen to hear from anyone that can help shed some light on what a AMH result of 34.6 pmol/L means for a 35 year old?

Thanks in advance x

Hey hun, I think there are two different tests. Yours looks like it is the UK version. In the USA, we use a totally different one, my AMH was 3.06 ng/ml which is "normal". But there, that would be SUPER low!!! From the chart I found, when you use the unit of measure yours is in, your AMH is perfect and "optimal fertility". :)

I'm the same hun, I'm 35 and mine was 42!

My Dr told me it was because I'd been on the pill for so long ( from 15 to 30) and during this time I wasn't ovulating??

Certainly explained it and iv gotta trust she knows what she's talking about, fingers xd anyway
