An idea for this section - Would like your opinions.

I think it's a fantastic idea. Always great to see any good news stories of a LTTTC and they don't get any better than a :bfp:

Excellent idea - would it be just for long term as opposed to those who have fertility issues?

Not wishing to alienate anyone (grovel grovel) but i know there are people with fertility issues on the site who got their BFP only a few months in and i was wondering if it would just be the 12 months+ mark?

Apologies if i offended anyone, i didn't mean to :hugs:

 oops i assumed it would be for anyone seeing a fs e.t.c. I haven't quite been ttc a year and had a v early m/c last month, so i guess if i get a :bfp: again i would have to anounce it in the normal section?

Fab idea, I think alot of ladies would feel more comfortable in making any announcements in this section.

Great idea x

I think this is a great idea.

Daisyduke-I'm just shy of the year mark too, with lots of fertility 'issues' I really hope this will still apply for us. I haven't ovulated in the whole time I've been TTC  so it's still very trying, and difficult to come to terms with. I do though, appreciate that most of you ladies have been trying longer than I. x

I'm a bit confused as to wether I'd qualify for this too. We have been 'trying' for over a year but I've been pregnant 3 times in that period of time. I'm not yet sure if we have fertility issues (it'd be more likely to be a problem with me as I keep losing our babies:cry:) as I'm waiting for my appointment to come through.

Hey girls, I think it would be meant for anyone in need of this section, so TTC 12 months+ and/OR anyone having treatment. Am I right??

I know where you're coming from Rach, the only probs I have with that is certain posts *cough* where someone with say endo that had NO treatment or anything, got their BFP 1st month and she had her post moved because it wasn't appropriate to be in here.

Does that make sense?

So yeah, I think it is anyone trying long term, or currently seeing a FS/having treatment?

I can't wait to see all the BFP's in this new section :headspin:

i think the new bfp section will be for anyone that is using the llttc section often and like FJL mentioned ladies that have being TTC 12 months+ and/OR anyone having treatment or a fertility issue...

I guess I'm a tad of a masochist as I keep reading the BFP section (which is how I saw all the LTTTCers getting their near-Xmas presents lately, hurray for Coffee and TT again!). I do get peeved on like anyone else when I open one of those "Oh yeah FINALLY!!!" threads thinking it's one of us LTTTCers just to see it is someone with 7 posts who has tried for all of two months, but it's still good to see those lines.

With all that said, this is an extraordinarily good idea to have a special one here!

wow what a great response!
Thanks for your input girls, I will let Wobbs know (it was her great idea!)

As for the issue who can post. Like Miel and FJL said, it's for those who frequent this section, don't stress if you've only been TTC 10 or so months and got a BFP, because we know as well as you do that you have struggled to get it, so of course we want to share the news with you!

Hi, great idea - I really really like it. One of those ideas I wish I'd thought of myself!!!

xxx

Great idea for all the reasons stated. Would love to start congratulating you guys in here so go for it!

That's what i meant! You can tell i was trying to say it right and failing... hence the grovelling before the end of my original post! I'm soooo good at foot in mouth

:hugs:
