We're going on a long flight soon so I'm on the lookout for ways to entertain my toddler. Like most kids, she's fascinated by my phone so I thought I'd download a few apps and cartoons to keep her busy.

Does anyone have any recommendations for apps?

We use Toddler Lock (just lets them draw in pretty colours) and My Baby Bubbles which just pops bubbles on the screen and some have animals in - sounds weird when I describe it like that :haha:. There are ads on the second one, which is daft when it's aimed at babies/toddlers, but if you turn on flight mode on your phone before you open the app, they won't appear :) Hope this helps!

We have the ones above too. We also use the Baby Bus apps...there are loads to choose from and they are pretty educational too (some of them). Kai likes the fishing and animal ones.
We also have the Talking Tom and Talking Ginger apps, he loves those too.

We've tried loads of apps but most have very inappropriate ads.
I always make sure WiFi/mobile data is off and that it's always on flight mode when he plays the games, so if he does tap on something, it can't do anything.

We have, toddler cars. Its just got pics of transport they click on and.it says the name. Peekaboo, he loves this one. Just have to find the baby thats hiding.
Various peg puzzle type ones.
And toddler memory, that another hit with lo. Just matcj the pics. Infact ohs mum liked this one so much she made his sister get it on her phone.
utube is another fave.

I only get the free apps as im worried lo will click on the ads and purchase more. ( he has changed my phone setings to various languages before, takes me a whole day to figure out how to change back. So im sure he would buy more.

I also have the kindle app, and various kids books so he often sits there " reading"

On the iPad we have Playhome (I love playing with this one too) and tozzle. LO will play for ages with these. Also look up Miss Spider it's a cartoon with some games attached. He loves that too.

Presume these will all be on android.
