Hi I'm 21+5 and been told it will take longer to feel baby but how much longer it's driving my crazy not feeling her and then I start to panic.

Thanks in advance

You will feel movements :) I have an anterior placenta and felt baby move at 21 weeks if I laid down on the bed with my back propped with a pillow. It took ages to feel a movement though !!

I have it too, and have felt the odd flutter or bubble here or there. When I'm up and about working I could swear probably once a day I feel a flip. But that's about it. My doppler keeps me sane and happy.

My oh won't allow me to have a Doppler because he asked midwife and she suggested against it so I'm stuck lol x

I got flutters at 22 weeks but only the past week felt proper movements and its not all the time. I panicked too, but at ultrasound she was moving everywhere, i just couldnt feel it xx

I have an ant placenta too, and my baby feels more like thumps. She is breach, so I can feel her legs kicking deep inside my body near my pelvis. I can feel her betsy when I am sitting up or laying on my right side. I can't wait until I can feel her better and more regularly.

i started feeling definite movement at 21 weeks (the knid that i didn't gave to second guess myself). But only in bed at night and not every night.

Yesterday (at 22w3d) I felt her while I was sitting for the first time. i could feel her a lot too, she was kicking me super low, near my pelvis.

But, it's not every day yet and they are not super strong. My husband can't feel them or see them at all.

I trust they will get stronger.

I'm 22 weeks tomorrow and I'm still yet to feel movements too due to ant placenta.

I did have a bubble sensation on New Years Day and thought that was the first of feeling him or her but nothing since

I've got anterior placenta for both babies, and have been feeling them kick when sitting/laying down since about 21 weeks! They are proper kicks and most can be seen from outside recently too!!

You will feel them soon! Maybe won't get mega strong till later for us ladies! But for me these kicks are strong enough:) I bet ul feel
It very soon:) xxxxxx

Thanks ladies :) I was getting worried too as I have an anterior placenta and have only felt rumbles and flutters. So by 22 weeks we should feel something?

i think you probs should be able to feelthe kicks by then, but dont panic if you dont!! also i can only feel them when i am sitting down, or laying in bed. if i am walking and doing things i dont think i have felt them!

i was just going to ask the exact same question. i am 20 weeks and have been feeling him move but then nothing for ages and with having a previous late loss it is driving me insane!!

they never really explained much to me about an anterior placenta so not really sure what it means etc but i am going crazy here!!

xx

im 23+4 and have been feeling her since around 16 weeks lightly but getting stronger now, very low down though and oh still hasnt felt her yet x

At what stage were you all told you had anterior placentas?

i was told at my 20 week scan for definate but at my 16 week midwife app i was told by the consultant then that it felt as though i had one!

i've been feeling Lily's kicks since about 14/15 weeks however DH has only felt her once on the outside and that was last week!

I dont have an anterior placenta but Im not feeling anything yet either. Midwife told me 21/22 weeks. x

Hi

I had a post placenta with my first and felt him move from 14 weeks, this time the placenta is anterior and only started to feel proper movements at around 20 weeks and now at 24 weeks tomorrow I'm starting to feel more movements.

I've been shocked by the difference especially as I'm pretty tiny, so would have thought I would have felt movement earlier even with an anterior placenta.

Don't worry give it a few more weeks and you'll be getting full blown kicks to the ribs! :haha:

I too have a front placenta but I've felt movement for weeks now. If I lie down and poke 2 fingers just below my belly button I can feel him move! OK so maybe us ladies with anteriors won't get the kicks you can actually see but you definately still feel your baby move. But everyone's different. I think because this is my 3rd pregnancy I know what to look for.

Ive an anterior placenta and feeling loads of movement now and even on the outside and I am 24 weeks x
