Anterior Placenta and movements

At what stage were you all told you had anterior placentas?

i wasnt actually told! but i saw it on my notes from my 20 week scan and then it was mentioned recently with midwife as i was asking about movement. otherwise its never been discussed with me!!!

I have an anterior placenta and all we feel are light kicks, but hubby felt them for the first time on Saturday. I'm 20+1 today. Most people say that they feel their baby the most when they're on their back, but I feel mine the most when I lay on my side or kind of halfway on my belly (which is how I sleep, seems to be the only way I can sleep, sort of front-but-not-totally). I don't know if that's because it squishes the placenta a little or what. Baby seems to like to dance late night and early mornings. :cloud9:

I had ant placenta with my first and didn't get movements til 22 weeks. It does feel like forever...but it will happen!

I just hope we'll be able to see her kicks from the outside when she gets bigger. I want my husband to experience it too, even though he doens't care either way.
