Hey kytti - personally I would re-consider temping if you're not able to chart at the same time everyday. Yes you could get away with close times, but you should really do it when you wake up in the morning (ideally set an alarm - the purpose of temping is to see a pattern, there can't be a reliable and steady pattern if there's no constant measurement). I see you've said about having trouble getting back to sleep so you've probably already made up your mind about whether or not to continue with this.
As you've said CD16 was super dark I would take this to be your LH surge and CD17 to be your Ov day.
On this occasion I would say go off your OPK's rather than the temps, they are more accurate, so although temps indicate potentially OV day as cd15, your opks show you didn't even get a + on cd14 so you definately couldn't have ovulated cd15 on that theory right?
If it puts your mind at rest, you've done good with the b'ding, if you do it after the ovulation day you have more chance of a miscarriage, plus with your bd pattern you are more likely to have a girl as the sperm carrying the female chromosome lasts longer than the male.
I would actually recommend only temping once you've detected ovulation, least then you only have a short amount of time - possibly temp vaginally too, you might find accurate results.
If you firmly believe you did ov cd15 then I'd manually change this on FF, let me know if you need help in changing this.
Other suggestions for Ov detecting:
cervix checking
saliva testing
blood tests
