We found out at our 20 weeks ultrasound that our little boy will be born with a cleft lip. Based on several ultrasounds, it is believed to be a unilateral cleft with an intact palate. I am so thankful for that as the surgeon we met with believes that it is minor enough that we will be able to skip the nam/taping and it should just take one surgery. We are 3 weeks from my due date and I'm still really nervous. I know he will still be beautiful and perfect but the idea of an infant having surgery is terrifying. Any other cleft mommas on here?
