Any tattoo lovers getting a tat in honour of baby?

I have my DD name written on my wrist with a oriental lily above it (my DD middle name is Lily). I will add to this one probably 12months or so after this one is born. It will be tricky to come up with exactly what I am after depending on the sex of this one. There will be two butterflies for the LO lost - i know that much. Thats why I will probably take a good 12 months to decide.

My son Joshua died shortly after birth in February. I'm having his hand and footprints tattooed, and mixing some of his ashes into the ink so he'll always be with me. Don't know what I'll get for this little one yet x

Wow, there are some tat lovers on here! I've just sat and read everyone's, there are some beautiful ideas! I love it when people say they are running out of room, I love tats on women I think they look great! the miscarriage ones are so sad and so special, it nearly made me cry!

Someone asked when you can tattoo after giving birth.... Apparently you are supposed to wait 6 months (that's what Google says not a tattoo artist!)

I have a flower 'bracelet' around my left wrist with my daughters name written into it. There are pink flowers around her name as that's her favourite colour (can't stand the colour myself) will be getting this ones name tattooed too

I will! So far I am thinking something hummingbird if I'm right and it's a girl with her name. I have a pretty good sized locket and key for my son already on my back. I'm not sure where I'll put it though.

I love tattoos,

I have 6 in total but got the largest one done for my daughter.

I will have another again for this pregnancy.

I went for her birth month flower, which turned out to be a lotus flower and her name and dob on it.

These are mine for my children. I have never been happy with Megan's but too much trouble to have a cover up on it. They are all on my fore arms. I have space for one more lol x
