Hello ladies

I am posting to see if any of you know any medication to help to relieve the tickly coughing because if I cough too much and I will end up sick.

I have been coughing for two weeks now and can't stand it anymore! :-(

I am planning to grab lemon and honey from tesco when they open later.

Many thanks! Xxx

Suck on a sweet. My dr says not to bother with cough medicines because sucking a sweet produces extra saliva which will help coat your throat just like a cough medicine. X

I hate having a tickly cough! I have just got over a cold and had tickly cough... I found the only thing that seemed to soothe it when it came on full force, was drinking a milkshake or just plain milk. I think it's supposed to coat your throat?? Other than that, I'm not really sure. The medicines never helped me at all. Hope you find something that helps you xx

I found some all honey cough drops that helped. Also when my cough got really really bad my dr prescribed an inhaler, which is totally safe during pregnancy.

Was about to suggest hot honey and lemon but I guess we're not really supposed to have honey!
