Any tips?

Hey girlies,

Sorry in advance for this one, but does anyone have any tips on sorting out down there I cant see to shave and I look like a mammoth im sure! Any help appreciated lol! x

I stood in front of the mirror this morning and used my epilator and a trimmer, thats the only way i can see it now haha

I went to have mine waxed the other day. Rather painful but I dread to think how it would have been had I attempted to shave or got OH to help!

Veet for sure! I had never used hair removal cream before. Last night I bought some Veet (the green bottle for dry skin, at my hairdresser friends suggestion) and used it. It was GREAT! No strong smell, no skin irritation at all. Three minutes and everything was tidy again!! My other two pregnancies I had an OH to help, but I'm single this time.

If you've never used veet before, or a hair remover like that, try it on your legs first. I used it for the first time on my legs and my skin is too sensitive! I can't imagine if I tried it there first!! OUCH!

I shaved last night, not the best experience but hey ho it's done now. I didn't think hair removal creams were safe in pregnancy due to the chemicals and being in contact with your skin for a long period of time

Hair removal creams don't seem to work for me, don't know why?

I tend to go in blind now with the shaving, goodness knows what it looks like! I did get DH to cut my toe nails last night and take my nail polish off as I just couldn't do it. Not sure I'd trust him with the other area - I have a feeling there wouldn't be much left if it was down to him!!

Thanks girlies... veet has been bought! I would enlist oh to help to he gets a bit excited and carried away near that area lol not what im wanting when he has a razor! I cant leave it go im getting so hairy all over I think if I left it when the baby comes he would get lost in the jungle lol xxxx

I was replying to this last night and my oh was peering over my shoulder so i stopped, we had a quick giggle about it and he said why dont you just leave it, all i could think of was me, legs spread and an afro (like off scary movie) I dont know what to do now, normally I slap on veet, dont bother with trying to tidy up just take it all off and i feel loads cleaner and fresher but he says not to bother
