Hello girls!

So it seems everybody and their mother is telling me I am having a girl, based on how I am carrying.

It is true that I am 'round' as opposed to carrying all out in front and apparently my face has changed too, according to some! Then again I have gained too much weight (can't stop feeding my face!)

Here's a picture of my bump! We find out next Tuesday if I am indeed carrying a girl, but what about you guys - have you found that there is any truth to gender, based on the way you are carrying? Personally, I don't really believe it, but maybe there is some truth to it?

:flower:

Nope, I'm having a girl but everyone tells me i have a typical boy bump out front

I'm neat and to the front and I'm having a boy :)

Not true, when I was pregnant with DD EVERYONE was telling me "you are all belly, its a a boy for sure" and they were all wrong! Now I am pregnant with a boy and I am carrying the same

I have had 3 girl pregnancies. My second daughter was all out front like a basketball, the other 2 (including this baby) I carried wider and got fatter lol.... so in my case the sex made no difference to how I carried.

My ultrasound tech said no. I'm carrying low and everyone was saying it was a boy...and low and behold...it's a girl! :)

I don't think there is too much truth to it, to be honest. I'm having a little boy and I don't think I fit the stereotypical "boy bump." While I'm carrying all the extra weight in my belly, it isn't low at all, rather it's kind of wide! lol!

I'm carrying low and lots of people said boy but i found out today its a girl! x

They say Low for a girl and high for a boy, i carried my daughter low and this baby is low, both girls!

I'd say no truth to it whatsoever. When I was pregnant with my daughter I put no weight on anywhere besides my bump and was carrying like I had a football stuffed up my top!

X

What does it mean if you are carrying your baby in your bum??

LOL! That's how I feel!!!!

Humm, one of my friend at work told me today i was carrying around a bit so i was gonna have a boy, now thinking of which, should i get offended by the "carrying around" bit?? Lol

Isn't it funny what people say without thinking? I had one conversation that went like this:

Her: Oh look at you! (She rubs my belly). Oh you are having a girl without a doubt!
Me: How can you tell?
Her: It's all in how you are carrying..you're just...just.. round everywhere!

I couldn't help but laugh! Apparently I'm quite rotund lol

I would say it's a myth. I have 2 daughters and carried both of them totally different. :winkwink:

Not for me it wasn't I'm carrying high and Ive gained weight everywhere and I'm having a boy. My sister is carrying low and gained weight everywhere and is having a girl..

I have a friend who kept telling me for my whole trimester she hopes i have a girl. But before i was pregnant our other friend was pregnant and she said she "hopes she has a girl so she gets fat!" AHH!

I havent had anyone tell me i look pregnant in a mean way yet... but i will be having a wedding at 25 weeks pregnant, i'm sure one of those comments will slip out. It's almost always other women.. they feel a freedom to comment on their friends' weight.

Awww, I don't know, though I've heard that theory and all others in between. One thing I do know, is you look just lovely!:hugs:
