We got married on 2nd august last year, and have been together 8.5years. do you ladies have anything special planned?

our first as marrieds too! we got hitched on September 20th. we aren't doing anything particularly exciting; as we have a poorly baby, but we swap cards (I was so excited to buy 'husband' this time!) and iv ordered 6 pretty little cupcakes for him too.

DH Gets home from work at 7.30pm, so will get kids to bed early and cook him a nice meal followed by a yummy dessert and a bottle of wine. a movie and hopefully some party time ;-) haha x

Us too! Got married May 26 last year but we've been together almost 6 years. We've never really done anything much since our pre-marriage anniversary was only 2 weeks later so we'd go out for that. But we've always switched off each year to cook the other one a nice dinner. This is my year. Perfect since I'm unemployed! I was excited to get him a card that said "husband" on it too!

I hate valentines, it's just too commercialised. If you love each other why do you need to be given a set day to be romantic and spoil your partner?

It's our first as a married couple, we got married in October and have been together somewhere around 6 years. I don't know when we got together, just that it was winter.

We don't do Valentines day. It's a load of commercial shite designed to make you spend money. I don't need a Saint's day to show DH what he means to me. I will, however, make him a special lunch and put a note in it that says 'From you Valentine'. As it's St Valentine day.

And we are not spending money this year, you don't need to spend money to show your spouce you love them lol. no need for the criticism.

ands yesterday I didn't see much of my husband because he workds long hours!!
