Anybody else due this week??

So glad im not the only one feeling like this! At least we can talk to each other and update each other!! Im 3/5 engaged and have been for a few weeks but dont think that means anything! Not had any signs of any plug or show or anything I have a midwife appt on tuesday and think i will get offered a sweep at that appt, still hoping he might decide to come before that! Im trying to keep myself busy but i am so bored of waiting and uncomfortable! Just want him here now! Its my own fault for beleiving i wouldnt go over due haha!! xxx

Ok, now I'm really pissed off!! Another NCT bod, not due till mid-august, had her waters break today!! So jealous

All im doing is waiting, waiting totally sucks!

Everyone keeps saying it will happen when i least expect it, but thing is I am constantly thinking about it!

My body is trying to get this little one out but it is just not happening!!!!!!!! I have had contractions (mild and far apart) all day yesterday. I didn't get excited as it was nothing special and not more than uncomfortable. They did come and go all day though which is good i guess. Just before bed I got all clammy. Felt sick and needed the toilet. Went for number 2 (all normal) and got into bed sure i would just sleep it off. I have been losing my plug in bits for a while now but last night there was a little blood tinged piece in my underwear. Woke at 2am with horrendous abdominal cramps. Had awful diarrhea (SP) for 3 hours. Was having awful tummy pains and contractions and totally cleared myself out. It seemed to go on forever. It was horrible. Managed to get an just over an hours sleep between 5-6:45am but it was disturbed sleep with cramps etc. Up and about now. No more awful abdominal cramps or the need for the toilet but I am having the same old contractions I was having all day yesterday lasting around 50 seconds long and spaced out by around 15 minutes. No more intense sadly. Hoping they pick up today as I seem to be doing everything I should be but not getting anywhere!!!!!!!!!!!! It seems positive though right? I am one day overdue today

I am due on Monday too and I am proper fed up now! I was convinced I was going to have this baby early as most of my friends have had theirs early but now I am thinking I am going to end up going to like 2 weeks over and then being induced. I really don't want to be induced! Baby is showing no signs of coming, I am so down in the dumps and bored of waiting! I feel like if I face another day of total boredom and symptom spotting I might just go in sain! I can't stop bursting into tears and feel so uncomfortable! I am absolutely terrified of giving birth and what labour will be like and the longer this wait goes on for the worse I'm gonna be - it's just prolonging the inevitable! I just want to get it over with lol
Sorry rant over - just feeling very peed off and I'm not even overdue yet!!!

I was due on Wednesday and I am soooo ready for my little man to be here. Saw my midwife on Wed and she said that he's very, very, very low down and doesn't really know how things haven't started yet She's booked me in for a sweep on Monday (which was his original due date before it was brought forward at the dating scan), but I'm worried that my cervix will be high and closed still! She also said he was a 'good size baby' so I reckon I may well have a 9lber on my hands too!

I'm suffering quite badly with PGP (SPD) so I am a bit worried about labour but my midwife said as long as I tell the midwives on labour ward about it, they will be able to help with comfortable labouring and delivery positions.

Lisa- I totally sympathise about the births in your NCT class. There's only 3 of us left who haven't had their babies (one is a week ahead of me so assuming her baby will be here very soon, and one is a couple of weeks behind). Five of them have had their babies already, and 2 of them were due after me (one of them was 3 weeks behind me!). It starts to make you wonder when it'll be your turn!!

I just cant face the thought of going 2 weeks overdue! It just makes me want to cry! Baby is showing no signs of coming anytime soon my back and pelvis hurt SO so much! Come on baby!!xx

It's my due date today. I see the midwife a week today also as she won't sweep until I am 41 weeks (5th Aug)

I think I must have burst into tears randomly about 3 times in the past couple of days! I think it's because I dropped quite early, so people have been telling me for weeks that there's no way he'll be overdue. Should have known!
Midwife actually wrote in my notes on Wednesday "no signs of labour". Mega demoralising!!

Im due today too - ignore the ticker, its slightly off.

I had a few cramps this morning but now nothing.

I was told my baby is back to back and labour is more likely to start with my waters breaking? ?????? who knows though.

However its going to happen - please happen today lol xx

Is it weird that OH and I talk to our baby, trying to encourage him to break my waters?!
I'm glad my hospital is 12 days. I know some that are 14 days and although 2 days doesn't sound like a lot, it definitely feels like it!!

Yeah i think its 12 days with us too but im not sure!

Does anyone know how effective a sweep is? do they normally get things going or do they sometimes not work? xx

I have had 3 now and none of them have worked. One (the last one) sent me into labor for 8 hours but it stopped as my baby was back to back and the contractions stopped being effective. I do know that with my other 2 kids they were effective so i think this baby is just being plain awkward! I think they are only effective if your body is ready x

they tried to induce me Saturday but my cervix was still completely closed

I am going back to the hospital now, so hopefully this time it will work.

I'm off to have my sweep in a couple of hours. I'm nervous that they're going to say my cervix is clamped shut and can't even try. Eek!!

I am back home, she could get a fingertip in so things are looking good, they wanted to dtart me with the pitocin (?) but the freakin whole labour ward was full and everyone decided to have their babies today! But I am going back tomorrow and they said I will have my baby before Wednesday!!!!
