anybody else not wanting to tell people until 20 or so weeks??

We told only close family with our daughter and even then it wasn't til i was 12 weeks. There were some who only found out when i was walking around with the pram . I have no plans to tell anyone again this time around, apart from the family.

Haven't told anyone yet.

I may tell my parents at 9 weeks after I get my next scan - assuming everything is okay. But part of me wants to wait until at least 12 weeks once all the tests are done.

No one else before 4 months.

Yeah I totally understand. I have told close family but I feel like I don't ever want to tell my friends! I suppose it is because I know that they won't be that interested or excited, which is fair enough, but then I don't feel like they deserve or need to know if they aren't going to be bothered!

Why won't your friends be interested or excited? Out of my gf's, most aren't married or into kids, but the one I told was super excited for us! Your friends might surprise you.

I don't know. I just think they will have been expecting it for ages so it won't be a surprise and they're all quite young and just go out partying all the time. A few of them will be pleased but most of them won't. X

Me too. Family still don't know but some co-workers know. We will keep this secret until we make sure everything o.k.

My friends are still big partiers too. I get what you mean. You'll probably not be able to talk to them they way you can talk on bnb until years from now when they catch up, if ever. I know many of my gf's say they never want kids bc they're too into doing their own thing. Might change someday, but not holding my breath. The one that knows was really happy for us though.
