We're supposed to be out on Saturday night and I haven't been drinking at all these last few weeks just to give myself as much of a fighting chance as possible but wondering how I get around it without people asking questions as nobody knows we're TTC...

Tell them you've got a UTI and that alcohol and UTI don't mix...

When I was younger, I would go up to the bar and ask for a drink that *looked* alcoholic but wasn't. That way I could join the party, but still drive myself home. You could try that. No one would be the wiser.

That's awesome, and no one would even think twice about it only a few people know on my end and that wasn't until this weekend, I'm not an overly big drinker in the first place, but I did go out the other weekend and someone asked why I wan't drinkin and I just told them it was because I wasn't feelin it.

I'm going to be in a wedding later this month as a bridesmaid, so that's the excuse i'm going to use around my friends...cuz they don't know I'm trying either...hehe

Oh I'm just a 1 day or so behind you Poppy, I hope we get a BFP around the same time!

fx'd for both of us huni.... i am now 8dpo and i am not getting many symptoms i don't want to think any thing into them but i am getting very bad gas uncontrollable and also weeing alot but like i said i am still thinking this is now my month i am holding back from checking my cp and cm until i am 10dpo x

I just temp, Poppymist, it's my first month of trying to make sense of all this so CP is still a bit of a mystery to me, lol.

I have started to use Fertility Friend and I have an app on my phone that I note any strange CM etc...

I keep having to hold myself back from testing, when did you do your first? Was trying to make it to 10DPO but may give in tomorrow, lol.

I got my 1st bfn 6dpo and then another one on 7dpo i know i tested way to early i am gonna hold off testing again until at least 10dpo and i dont hold much hope for this month! cp is strange unless you know it well i have tracked it for 2 years now i got preggers with my son by tracking it however this month is just confusing up down left right closed open wet dry the list goes on thats why i have no idea whats going on! X

I don't know I go back and forth, I feel like I'm pg, but I thought I was last cycle and I wasn't, so I'm just waiting it out. I feel a little emotional right now, but I usually do before AF comes...so who knows. I wanted to ask what exactly are you looking for when you check CP at 10DPO? I'm having difficulty understanding what to do and what to look for with CP???

oh ok well the internet says high wet closed and soft however this can be different for every one TMI EVERY ONE GONNA EXPLAIN

when i check mine i squat and insert 2 fingers just so i can use both to feel around i feel for like a lump which if closed has a dimple like thing on it ( for most ) and then a lil opening if open! when i checked with my son when i was 5 weeks pg and it was very high wet and closed with the dimple thing on it and it was very soft like your bottom lip...but i just want to stress every one is different and every one always says be careful cause you may interfer with some thing always wash your hands thoroughly also again different for every one and not accurate for every one as means of conception and pregnancy huni i hope i have helped mwah xxxx

This is only my 3rd month trying, but I have no idea about my CP, its so high up there, and I can't reach it with my short fingers! lol and when i just barely touch it, it feels like its facing down or back away from me, and its soft and i think closed, but I can only feel the side of it, my darn fingers are too short!

Also I feel a little crampy after I try to check it, so I'm scared it will cause AF to start or something...

Hey if you tell them you're on antibiotics, tell them you're taking Flagyl. If you drink alcohol while taking it (even getting mouthwash in your mouth) will cause you to heave your guts out. Like the worst sickness you could ever imagine. lol then they will leave you alone about it! haha

How many dpo are you? Could be implantation dip?

ok fallenangel i checked my cp again like i usually do this morning and it has moved further up ( higher ) and soft and closed i am hoping this is a good sign i am 9dpo today i am tempted to test but i am not gonna test until the 14th as thats the day af is due. from what youve said about your cpit sounds good but again unless you personally know your cp its not an accurate sign of pg its even accurate for me and i know it lol.

Alynn just wanted to say i don't think checking cp could bring on af however it is warned every where it could interfer with some thing! I personally do it every morning but i son't think i would start checking it if i hadn't done it before trying for a baby i charted 2 cycles before starting to try. X
