anyone any good a photo editing? making a photo brighter?

Iv had some slides copied from when A was born, But one photo, its just black, i can see an outline, But id like it made brighter so i can see it....

I have lightened to the best of my abilitys, someone with photoshop may be able to make a better job???

Had a little play around, tried to make it less pixelated. Its definitely a tough image to fix sorry its not great.

Made an avatar too, as some images can look clearer when small because you cant see the pixelness if that makes sense

do you have the original camera file. like the 1 that goes on your camera stick when you take it. not sure if it is but this one is alot smaller so seems like maybe you have copied and pasted it off your facebook for example onto here. its juts the original will be alot easier to use and alot less pixelated xx

As i put in my OP. It was from a slide.
Boots sold me the wrong film for an anciet SLR and didnt sell me a film to be developed, They sold me slides, Cue having to get the slide projected and copied at £2.00 each
So im afraid this is the only copy i have...
Rather gutted is to say the least...It would have been beautiful!
