Anyone disappointed with their choice of pram?

I have a Norton Storm travel system and love it! I always get comments on it, it's mega easy to fold up and put down, everything clips on and off it without any fuss, pushchair can go parent or forward facing - its great! DH originally wanted a quinny but I'd read loads of bad reviews so persuaded him out of it. We also liked the mamas and papas ultimo, but the shop assistant put us off that one!

Oh hun there is nothing worse than not liking your pram. I was the same. I got a Hauck Condor travel system and HATED it. Money was tight so we went for the cheap option. It was really bulky and hard to put the car seat on and off. I found it really heavy to unfold. It also squeaked constantly I used to get embarassed going round the shops and often had to spray WD40 on it. The wheels starting seizing up so I phoned Tesco and explained the wheels and brake was faulty and they organised a full refund for me no questions asked. They sent a courier to the house and they took it away, plus gave me an extra £20 goodwill as the courier kept messing me about. I then ordered the Obaby Zezu in purple which I LOVE. its so light and easy to maneovre and the car seat clips on and off like a dream. Its supposed to be like a cheaper version of the Mamas n Papas Skate. I would recommend it to anyone a few of my friends have it and love it too.
What about the shop you got your pram from could you chance your luck and tell them its faulty, they might not check it and offer you a refund/exchange for something else?

We went for a Jane Tryder and it's perfect for us and our lifestyle. It's so easy to put up and down and everything clips on and off with the push of a button. It's brand new to the Market in September so I've never seen another yet. Get lots of looks and compliments. It's great over all terrain, so smooth and easy to steer. Only down point is that it's quite heavy but I knew this when I bought it so it doesn't bother me in the slightest. I love it and would recommend it to others.

Jane solo reverse and I LOVE IT! Yes when you add the matrix car seat in its heavy but no heavier than any other pushchair I've ever tried. Plus the car seat lies flat which was a must for us in the early days. The pushchair can be ff/pf and is easy to change over, my little one loves it and is incredibly comfortable... Not sure what to do when small number 2 comes along, don't want to get rid of it and not keen On any of the double/tandom pushchairs I've seen.

I love my pram, I wouldn't change it (Mamas & Papas Zoom) but its SO wide. It drives me insane. Hate it!

I got the Zoom as well. Love it! We use the carrycot as a Moses basket by getting the overnight mattress. It's great value for money and I've had loads of compliments. It is a little bit wide but i don't mind this as my LO is pretty chunky and I don't want her to grow out of it too quickly

I think there are some faulty hauck condor travel systems about, heard quite a few horror stories but thankfully ours is one of the non-iffy ones; never had to put WD40 or anything on the wheels, brakes are fantastic and its been used regularly on all kinds of surfaces for nearly a year now and is still great. Its not the lightest weight pushchair in the world but its a lot lighter to me than other medium sized pushchairs with a bumper bar and the bumper bar does come in handy when lifting the pushchair onto buses (because lets face it most drivers do not lower the floor of the bus even if you ask); when I got one without a few years ago I kept feeling around for the bumper bar when getting on the bus! xx
