Am i the only mad one here ... i cant be

Planning on going at about 11pm int he hope that it'll be fairly quiet and i wont have to put up with the crazy pushing, shoving and people grabbing everything off the shelves like that shops are going to be shut for a month :haha:

I did mine this morning, if I had of realised it was open 24hrs I honestly would have left it until late on tonight, though have a feeling it may be as bad, when I was leaving there was ques of traffic into tesco the whole way around the town, total madness.

Hopefully most will do their shopping "late" as in 8/9pm and be on their way out 10/11pm ... well thats my theory anyway, last year i went at 9pm and it was heaving, but 11pm is more like bedtime isnt it, esp in this weather

I was there at 6.30 this morning!! :p xx

No way really?

OH went to Tesco at about 8pm last night and he said it was choas, people swearing and arguing over parking in the car park, no trolleys, etc etc

Why does the xmas food shop turn some people into idiots?

The waitrose is in the village and a bit crap, so most people went to Tesco, lucky I had all frozen food anyway so I was able to just go to waitrose, the lady said it was busy earlier but I must have gone when half the village had afternoon nap lol xx

Although, I forgot to get some jack daniels so I need to go to Tesco tomorrow!

I done my today at about 1oclock in tescos and there was only a handful of peopel in it :)
no pushing, shouting or grabbing it was great x

We went to Sainsburys last night - it wasn't any more busy than usual. A few things missing off the shelves, like loose brussels and swede, but nothing major. Car park was half empty, and no queues at the till. I was quite surprised really.

We did ours at tea time tday, it was mayhem, people panic buying like its the end ofd the world lol

I to asda last night, came out £200 lighter  got a few party food bits today from iceland £10 and still to get a turkey £20
it was busy but not too bad, shelfs still full :D
good luck

When me and OH went to Sainsburys Monday afternoon we struggled to get parked

We will count that as a sensible shop as your said trolley, not trollies.... :D xx

cud only push one anyways  and morgan had cans in the baby seat next 2him

I just get a normal shop too plus goodies, i dont know why some people go so mad?
