Hey I was just wondering am I the only one that has a can of fizzy drink everyday ? I have club orange which has no caffeine but obviously sugar.is this really bad and shud I just have it once a week? Oh I'm 22 weeks with second little boy
I try and not have more than one glass/can a day but I am not cutting it out entirely! I also drink tropicana and that probably has just as much sugar. As long as you drink it in moderation you should be fine.
I drink fizzy drinks on a daily base. One at work and at least 1 at home. Both are caffeine, coke. I don't drink, smoke or eat so called risk foods. So those drinks are my treats. I used to drink energy drinks, but haven't drunk that since I fell pregnant.
I never really drank fizzy drinks before pregnant, but wanted to since being so. I tried to cut down mostly because I bloat a lot. I've found that if I have cold water I fancy that more than a fizzy drink. I still do have some fizzy drinks though X
I used to live on caffeine as I just finished my last semester of school. It took me some time for my body to get used to not having much as I cut down to one or two cans of soda a day. Until recently I couldn't stand the taste of water unless it was 90 degrees out but the last few weeks I have been SO parched. I drink water with lots of ice everyday now(I also used to hate ice as the cold hurts my teeth lol). Gotta love pregnancy ha
Ive got HG and weirdly enough fizzy settle very well in my tummy, been days when its been only fluids ive had. I dont feel bad because its all i could manage.
Im able to drink and keep water down better now so i swap between the 2.
I go between diet and zero if i get a bottle ill only drink few glasses before hubby finishes it as once fizz goes down i taste to much sweetness. So ita deffo 'fizz' im after.
Just a thought to you ladies doing the diet drinks; check the arificial sweeteners in them and do your research Some think its fine and dont mind risking it....
I try not to drink any, but there are days I have to have at least one, maybe two sodas. If I do, I try to go with my sprite or Sunkist, but there are days I need to have a dr. pepper.
During the first trimester, I couldn't drink any soda without feeling ill ... Although, pretty much everything made me feel ill at that time. Since then, I've started drinking soda everyday. I just don't drink as much as I did prior to being pregnant.
A bit of soda each day won't hurt you just keep in mind it's a) empty calories and b) it's not as hydrating. So I'd only worry about it if you're a) gaining weight too fast / already pretty overweight before pregnancy and so needing to watch calories and/or b) are drinking it instead of water. Otherwise no biggie.
