Hello

I'm due in early April, about 17 weeks so far. I'm 38 and already have an 8 year old dd.

Hopefully all will go well for us. Off to see consultant soon to check all is going as it should.

Feeling pretty drained most of the time too, I think OH must be fed up of my sleeping on the sofa before bedtime!

Hi, my due date is 10th April but having an elective at the end of March. Very excited and nervous. Going for a 4d scan on 18th jan, can't wait x

We have our 3d (or 4d?) scan on the 19th Jan. DD is coming along too.

Do either of you know whether you are expecting a boy or girl? We are expecting a girl.

We are having a little girl too, I'm soooo delighted. We haven't told anyone though we want to keep it a surprise for everyone else so ssssshhhh! I have a regular scan tomorrow morning and I'm really excited for that too. Hope you and your wee princess are well xx

Been to MW today, and baby is measuring tad big/long for our weeks, but she isn't too concerned at the mo. All healthy babywise, just got a nasty cold that I just can't shift, and I can't sleep well with a blocked nose... Grrrr..

Hopefully rest over the weekend will help get back to normal.

Looking forward to scan next week.

I was suffering with a blocked nose and bought some nasal strips, they worked a treat. The relief was enough to get some sleep without that horrible feeling that you can't breathe. X

I tried some of them, and they work a little, but lots of hot drinks and a little vick has helped too.

Also found out yesterday I had low iron, so now on supplements. Could explain why it was taking me an age to get better.

Baby is fine though, wriggling around and letting me know she's there.

were having a boy am also measuring ahead so we shall see how he's doing next mw appointment

We thought we were having a boy, so were surprised to find out it was a girl. DD is well pleased, she wanted a sister (but was prepared to put up with a brother )

We let her tell us at Christmas, by getting Father Christmas to leave her a letter in the tree with the results of the scan in an envelope. We all had a big family hug.

My next MW appointment is at 31 weeks.
