Anyone else actually looking forward to the budget thingy tomorrow?

yeh they said they were going to increase the tax anyway.... just means we need to be more savvy with money :D

childrens clothes, newspapers and other tax free items will STILL be 0% tax

nothing seems to be kicking in right away everything seems to be from 2011

Chriiiiiiiist 20%! Made my eyes water ;)!
It's just one of those things and we can't control it! xx

the public sector pay freeze is also only for people on 21k+ i think?

Yeah i just realised this... so we will get a little more... panic over a bit lol. Its scary when you talk money. We'll be ok anyway... just have to get a job myself and hope they're not cutting childcare element of tax credits!

I dont think they are cutting the childcare element as they would have said when they mentioned tax creds in general :Dxx

ooohhh council tax. this should be interesting i pay 220 a month for a two bedroom house and my dad pays 150 for a 4 bedroom house lol

I don't see why they're not increasing alcohol and tobacco tax.. Good about petrol though!

Food and children's clothing, as well as other zero-rated items like books, will remain exempt.
